Transport Disaster categories

Hello, WikiProject,

If you look at Category:Empty categories awaiting deletion, you'll see hundreds of Transport Disaster categories have been emptied and will be deleted next week. I don't know if this was done in keeping with your understanding of "disaster" so I thought I'd bring it to your attention in case these categories had been emptied "out of process". Thank you. New important article: Maritime incident

I've stubbed this. Rather a top-level topic, I'd say, but missing - uness I misssed something obvious. Please try to destub and add some bibliography... Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 03:57, 17 September 2023 (UTC)

I suggest not conflating accident, disaster and incident, as the article currently does. Not all incidents are accidents, not all incidents or accidents are disasters. An editor has started an RfC about whether the announcement by the FBI and the U.S. Department of Energy that they support the COVID-19 lab leak theory should be in the lede of the COVID-19 lab leak theory article. Editors are invited to contribute. TarnishedPathtalk 01:57, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
