Standardized article formats for CT cities

[edit]

I feel like the articles on some of CT's major cities such as New Haven and Bridgeport are suffering from a lack of organization and poor structure. These articles do have potential and are already packed with information--maybe too much. There is a lot of trivial information that may not be notable, especially in the New Haven article. Seeing as the articles on our major cities are of top importance, I think it behooves us to follow a reasonably standard format. Looking at the WP: Cities guidelines provides a solution. I would be happy to see some of our cities be nominated to at least A-status. What do you think? Lrkleine (talk) 01:59, 8 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Lrkleine! I'm all for it, so long as cited points are (re)moved go to sub-articles or at least to the talk page of the article in question for discussion. Most of these are pretty old articles that have had a lot of hands through them, and are probably overdue for standardization. The pre-2 September 2011 Hartford article is another good example, it looked like an ad for Springfield, MA! Best, Markvs88 (talk) 13:34, 8 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
