Redlinks, bluelinks and lists of lists
Let me invite you all to add your opinions to my little rant about links and lists here. --Deskford (talk) 15:00, 16 December 2009 (UTC)
Simon Proctor
Anybody know if Simon Proctor is a notable composer? I gave the article a PROD, which was contested, though there doesn't seem much evidence of notability. Can anyone improve the article? --Deskford (talk) 21:50, 19 December 2009 (UTC)
- Yes indeed, the refs. are poor. Maybe Afd? Also maybe keep this at Contemporary music? --Kleinzach 02:36, 20 December 2009 (UTC)
- Now withdrawn. --Jubilee♫clipman 22:07, 21 December 2009 (UTC)
- A worthwhile exercise nevertheless, because the article has been improved in the process. We still need a few more references for verification. The two "Sounds of Kent" CDs mentioned in the article don't seem to show up on any CD dealers' lists, for example, which makes me wonder if they were self-published. --Deskford (talk) 23:14, 21 December 2009 (UTC)
- Actually, I suspected it would fail AfD but be improved: I wanted to "get it out there" at it were. Self-publication is not necessarily a reason for non-inclusion within an article unless they are also entirely non-notable. Seperate articles for these would probably be deleted, however. They do need citing , though. --Jubilee♫clipman 00:16, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
