Clarification on December 31st.
[edit]Greetings Cwmhiraeth,
I had posted Vella Pillay based on this note on the scoring page In the spirit of fair play, contestants have 14 days to nominate their work after promotion (for good and featured content), appearance on the main page (for did you knows and in the news articles) or the completion of good or featured article reviews and featured list reviews, by entering it on their submissions page. However, work qualifying in a particular round must be nominated and claimed within 24 hours of the end of the round. Nominations submitted more than 14 days after the points were earned, or more than 24 hours after the end of a round, will not be eligible. Please contact the judges if you have a question regarding the submission of articles.
The article was approved for GA on December 31, ~6 hours before midnight. Appreciate your consideration.

- The rule you quote is designed to prevent contestants storing up submissions so as to mislead others into thinking they can relax and not need to score any more.
- The relevant rule here is "You may usually only score points in a round for content which has been promoted, or reviews which have been completed, in that round." The submissions you made are ineligible because they were promoted, or appeared on the main page in 2021, before this contest began. Sorry about that. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:48, 6 January 2022 (UTC)
- Ok. No problem. Ktin (talk) 06:53, 6 January 2022 (UTC)
