Number of TFL submissions
[edit]The header on the TFL submission page says there should be no more than fifteen nominations listed here at any one time
, but we're currently at nineteen nominations. Should we do something to limit nominations for the time being, or is it fine to keep a large backlog for now? There's a lot of submissions without specific date requests, so maybe we should prioritize listing those for now. RunningTiger123 (talk) 19:28, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
This blurb currently has four instances of adjacent non-bolded links (a sea of blue):
- pitcher Cherokee Fisher
- second baseman Bob Addy
- third baseman Bob Ferguson
- Hall of Famer Candy Cummings
Does anybody see a way to rephrase these, without causing other issues? If not, that's alright – it's not a huge problem. jlwoodwa (talk) 17:33, 14 October 2024 (UTC)
- One option: Don't wikilink the positions in these cases. Someone who doesn't know what they mean can go to the main list where they are linked. For the last one, it could be "Candy Cummings (a future Hall of Famer)" or leave out the fact that he was in the Hall of Fame from this blurb. -MPGuy2824 (talk) 06:06, 15 October 2024 (UTC)
