I suggest not to show the image of Handel old together with the sentence "youthful composer George Frideric Handel (pictured). I understand that we can't use the youthful image because it's not certain it shows Handel. We could

rephrase the sentence
show an image of the opera house instead, better the interior (which is not yet in the article, possibly for a similar reason).

  - We run images of people outside a certain period frequently. It is much better to run an image of an older Handel than it is to run one which we can't be sure is of him. Worse comes to worse, we can add "pictured at age xx" to the caption. I think you misunderstood me. I am not against showing old Handel, but if we do we should not say "youthful composer George Frideric Handel (pictured), - as misleading. I made two suggestions for images that I feel are more relevant to the article, - it's not his biography, after all. Perhaps compare the discussion on Wikipedia talk:Today's featured article/July 16, 2016.
