So the next step is to find out whose campaign funds are being topped up by the big corporations that are behind this. Surely the US system lists donations over a certain amount? Tony (talk) 09:43, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

needs to account for split zips

[edit]

Doesn't work for zips that are split across House districts -- I live in such a district (zip = 95616) and the app pulls up the wrong rep (Lundgren, CA-3, vs Thompson, CA-5). house.gov points people to https://tools.usps.com/go/ZipLookupAction!input.action to get +4s to fix this. Interestingly http://whoismyrepresentative.com/search/zip/95616 works -- I wonder if there's a different or more fine API to use. -- phoebe / (talk to me) 16:21, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

We're working to address this problem. Kaldari (talk) 21:17, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong Rep

[edit]

Had similar issue with 94025. Returned Rep Howard Berman (somewhere in Southern California) when it should be Rep Anna Eshoo. http://whoismyrepresentative.com/search/zip/94025 was correct.Stu (talk) 18:25, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

why are we doing this here?

[edit]

Isn't writerep.house.gov good enough? 66.31.200.47 (talk) 16:27, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Jackie Speier contact form

[edit]

Fixed. Kaldari (talk) 22:10, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

No test.m.wikipedia.org

[edit]

Currently there is no test.m.wikipedia.org page, and there is no link to view the main site. --Philinje (talk) 18:45, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
