More responsibility for my part
[edit]- I said I "have unfortunately been drawn into the bickering..." I should say I joined the dispute. I never wanted to be so involved, but I made my choice.
- Given the above, I will work as an interested party to improve this article. If it comes down to it, I will propose a rewrite of the whole article.
- I want to acknowledge that HOOTmag was acting in good faith to preserve the integrity of WP, though I think he chose an improper course of action to that end.
- HOOTmag has also acted with admirable restraint, given many of my direct comments about his actions and decisions.
With these additions and exceptions in mind, I stand by the content in my request for mediation. Dcs002 (talk) 05:12, 2 August 2014 (UTC)
