Translation issues

[edit]

Dear Editors,

I wanted to confirm the most appropriate translations for the following political parties, of which made up the National Reconstruction Front

Partido Social Cristiano (Social Christian Party)

Partido Conservador Ecuatoriano (Conservative Ecuadorian Party)

Partido Liberal Radical Ecuatoriano (Radical Liberal Ecuadorian Party)

Partido Nacionalista Revolucionario (Revolutionary Nationalist Party)

Coalición Institucionalista Democrática (Institutional Democratic Coalition)

Federación Nacional Velasquista (National Velasquista Federation)

After consulting other texts, I have attempted my own translations in the brackets. Unamaduraverde91 (talk) 11:11, 16 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Media to include in article

[edit]

Dear Editors, Just wanted to get your advice as to what other media I could in the article?

When I searched Wikimedia for article related to Ecuadorian politicians and political parties, including the National Reconstruction Front, it was difficult to find media that would specifically supplement this article.

Would anyone have any advice as to where I could source other appropriate images? and which would of course be permissible to share on Wikipedia?

Advice as to other ways I could improve the visual style of the article through. for example, the inclusion of tables, fact sheets, would also be appreciated. Should an article like this include tables, factsheets etc. ? The Wikipedia:WikiProject Politics/Political parties seems very flexible as to the structure and organisation of information in articles, given this, advice from more experienced users would be appreciated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Unamaduraverde91 (talkcontribs) 11:22, 16 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The role of the National Reconstruction Front in advancing neoliberalism in Ecuador

[edit]
 Dear Editors,

According to my research, the National Reconstruction front was not the first to introduce neoliberal policies in Ecuador. It was however, the first form a public relationship with the United States, specifically, then president Ronald Reagan. According to some scholars, this led the media to create the falsehood, that this Party was Ecuador's first voluntary attempt at Neoliberal politics/ economics.

Should this article include a section on the history of neoliberalism of ecuador, or a section such as The role of the National Reconstruction Front in advancing neoliberalism in Ecuador? The intention behind this would be to clearly demonstrate the contribution of this party to the implementation of neoliberal politics in ecuador. As well as demonstrate that Ecuador was not new to neoliberal policies but rather struggling despite and as result of their implementation. What is the relationship between the Partido Social Cristiano (Social Christian Party) and Guayaquil businessmen

[edit]

Dear Editors,

I wanted to clarify the extent of the relationship between the Partido Social Cristiano (Social Christian Party) and Guayaquil businessmen. Given that Leon Fabres Cordero, leader of the Partido Social Cristiano (Social Christian Party) seems to structure his policy decisions around the interests of this group or target demographic, I wanted to know how I could elaborate on this relationship. The significance of acquiring this information lies in the fact that the party ended up challenging its relationship with group, causing internal factions - which a significant historical event in the life of the party.
