Useful Info

[edit]

I found this article useful. As it enabled me to send a command for textarea, there seemed to be very little other advice on net for this.

I wonder if anybody can help for using Dreamweaver when I specify.

"C:\Program Files\Macromedia\Dreamweaver 8\dreamweaver.exe" %t for textarea it does open dreamweaver but you only edit code and not use any functions of Dreamweaver. Sedgwick8043 19:16, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Missing info?

[edit]
"It is assumed that you already installed and configured MozEx, and also configured your editor; otherwise please see Wikipedia:text editor support."

Hmmm... Wikipedia:text editor support does not explain how to configure MozEx. Perhaps it would be useful to add that either here or there? --JButler 12:35, 17 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I thought the latter information is avaliable on the download website, no? Oleg Alexandrov 15:32, 17 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, it would be nice if you use an edit summary. Just so that other people don't have to guess what you are up to when seeing your edit in the watchlist. Thanks. Oleg Alexandrov 15:32, 17 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]
The install/config info is on the download site (although it's pretty brief and a little confusing), but that's not what this reference cites. Instead, it cites Wikipedia:text editor support, which does not have config info on it. So, perhaps we should refer folks to the download site instead of Wikipedia:text editor support? (Sorry about the missing edit summary. I usually include one. Honest!)--JButler 11:55, 18 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the reference to the Wikipedia:text editor support altogether, so that is not an issue any longer. If you wish to put some install instructions on this page, that's fine with me. But let us keep in mind that the main purpose of this page is how to use MozEx rather than how to install it. Oleg Alexandrov 17:11, 18 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Can I bin the MozEx functionality to a key

[edit]

Hello

I find it quite cumbersome to use the right mouse click to select mozdev and then edit text area. Is there a possibility to bind that functionality to a key?? Thanks
