Apologies

What?

[edit]

What about the Penderel's Oak? Majorly talk 01:01, 12 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Seems that the V & A will be the venue this month,,,,, Gordo (talk) 22:54, 27 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Food

[edit]

I'm happy with the idea of holding this at the V&A but can we have a bit more detail such as which bit we head for? Normally these events are long leisurely chats over beer and pub food, I assume the beers will be after if at all, but do we need to eat first, and if so would it make more sense for us to meet in the V&A cafe from 1-2 then move on into the museum? WereSpielChequers 20:45, 12 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It would probably make sense to try and get the V&A as eary as posible then go on to eat. I can make it by ten. That time look doable to anyone else?Geni 13:36, 13 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I could probably make 12 if we were having an early lunch and then starting the project. But what are the V&A expecting? Are any of their people going to be involved in this? WereSpielChequers 20:28, 13 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Other people will likely be around on the first of the month.Geni 03:56, 14 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
12 is good for me. I'll be bringing my ladyfriend along to try and eliminate the gender imbalance. Ironholds (talk) 04:49, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong day?

[edit]

You know WLA@V&A is on the 1st right? --cfp (talk) 02:40, 28 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I've change it. It's not the 8th, it's the 1st.--Pharos (talk) 02:43, 28 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
This is the 18th London 2nd Sunday meet up and the plan was to move it for this month only to the V&A because the V&A event is all month, this is a separate event to the launch of the V&A event which is scheduled for the first. I'm moving it back to the 8th which is what all the attendees signed up for. WereSpielChequers 08:30, 28 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe you folks are also going to the public event on February 1 (which is the day when most of the non-Wikimedian will be coming in also), but if not it seems like perhaps a mistake to hold separate meetings just one week apart, just for the sake of always doing things on a second Sunday. There should also be time on February 1 for some "regular" meetup stuff too, I think. Anyway, good luck with everything!--Pharos (talk) 13:55, 28 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
We discussed it at the last meetup and on a couple of pages elsewhere, yup there are people signing up for both or one particular event, and a couple of regulars are skipping this month. WereSpielChequers 13:59, 28 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Details

[edit]

I'm going to be coming along on the 8th at 1pm - what more details are needed? Unfortunately the V&A people wont be providing refreshments or cameras to loan this time, but will be on hand to help out. AndrewRT(Talk) 00:02, 3 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
