XEJ TV

[edit]

Does anyone know if XEJ is broadcasting the Over the air broadcast? We used to get it on our antennna in El Paso and now a few days ago we lost this channel. Thanks 217.180.228.230 (talk) 17:40, 11 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for the very late response. I can provide a puzzle piece here: XEJ's authority to broadcast ended in 2021 and was not renewed. It seems the station is still broadcasting to someone, per Facebook, though. Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 19:22, 17 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Wikiproject

[edit]

Would anyone be interested in joining a sub project of WP:Anthropology on oral tradition? WP's coverage of this is quite poor atm imo Kowal2701 (talk) 17:46, 26 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Finding sources for a State election.

[edit]

Hello, I am not apart of Wikiproject Mexico, but I am currently working on a draft for an article about the 2013 Zacatecas State Elections (I started it as a translation from esWiki as a base). I am struggling to find reliable sources, and those I have found or adopted from the translation are contradictory- with both each other and esWiki content. Does anyone have any recommendations for institutions, archives, outlets, publications, etc. where I could find more sources or just general advice? Please inform me if I have asked this in the incorrect location. Thank you.

My draft is public, so I'll link it here: Draft:2013 Zacatecas State Elections Mason7512 (talk) 21:29, 3 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Women in Green's October 2024 edit-a-thon

[edit]

Hello WikiProject Mexico:

WikiProject Women in Green is holding a month-long Good Article Edit-a-thon event in October 2024!

Running from October 1 to 31, 2024, WikiProject Women in Green (WiG) is hosting a Good Article (GA) edit-a-thon event with the theme Around the World in 31 Days! All experience levels welcome. Never worked on a GA project before? We'll teach you how to get started. Or maybe you're an old hand at GAs – we'd love to have you involved! Participants are invited to work on nominating and/or reviewing GA submissions related to women and women's works (e.g., books, films) during the event period. We hope to collectively cover article subjects from at least 31 countries (or broader international articles) by month's end. GA resources and one-on-one support will be provided by experienced GA editors, and participants will have the opportunity to earn a special WiG barnstar for their efforts.

We hope to see you there!

Niños Héroes

[edit]

The 13th of September marked the anniversary of the sacrifice of the 6 niños héroes, which are revered in México and have many streets, neighbourhoods and public spaces named after them.

However, on English wikipedia, there is no individual articles on their lives and sacrifices.

To remedy that I have begun creating articles (Juan de la Barrera).

I would appreciate any and all help making more articles and making the articles better! Thank you
