Introductory Assignment

  • Create a user account, if you don't yet have one. Help regarding account creation is available on the following link,

  • Create a sandbox and add some sample text in it to get a feel for the wiki code. Help regarding how to create a Sandbox is available on the following link,

  • Make a few edits to Wikipedia articles, it can be adding a reference, fixing a typo, cleaning up a convoluted sentence, adding a sentence, etc.

Hi there. I have just deleted the page NARROW FRAMING which appears to be part of this project. It was deleted as a blatant copyright violation as it was a cut and paste of this section from the book "Investment Planning". I can see that you have warned your students against copyright violation and plagiarism on the project page but you might want to reiterate that guidance as some at least clearly do not understand the implications. Further, I have just had to delete four more cut and paste copyright violations which were also duplicates of one another. They were: NARROW FRAMING, Narrow Framing, Sentbox and User:Hahaharsh.
