More reports?
[edit]@Femkemilene: I see that the Climate Change and Land report is out. Do you expect we will need citations for it? Or for any other Special Reports? ♦ J. Johnson (JJ) (talk) 21:56, 28 August 2019 (UTC)
- I've actually already cited it in the global warming article (even though they don't have a version only yet they want us to cite). Might take a month for it to be official accepted version (now accepted draft) for which page numbers are stable and then another year for it to be published. I'll also be using the SLR and ice report that is set to come out in a months time for at least two sentences in the article. Femke Nijsse (talk) 20:02, 30 August 2019 (UTC)
- I'll take that as a "in the not too distant future". Let me know what might be needed, and when. (Not just for GW, but all across the board.) We should also identify draft ("pre-approval") sources as "DRAFT"; more on that later. ♦ J. Johnson (JJ) (talk) 21:01, 30 August 2019 (UTC)
- I'm not keen on using pre-approved drafts at all. For me the approved draft is first stage of acceptable usage. The reports are typically not published before they are approved. I've heard of leaks of some of the drafts of the September SR though. Femke Nijsse (talk) 21:07, 30 August 2019 (UTC)
