Hello. I have one question. I am from Azerbaijanian Wikipedia. Can I creat any article, which related with Galicia, in Azeri language in Azerbaijanian language? --Serkanland (talk) 23:06, 8 June 2015 (UTC)
- Hi. That is the purpose of this challenge. This is a challenge that anyone can participate: I'm glad to hear that you are interested in it.--Breogan2008 (talk) 23:08, 8 June 2015 (UTC)

- This challenge is possible thanks to you. It is inspired by your will that people know and love your country, Cymru. Greetings across the Atlantic, fellow.--Breogan2008 (talk) 10:54, 14 June 2015 (UTC)
Badly-referenced
[edit]The article gl:Viquingos en Galicia isn't well-referenced, I don't want to translate because it would reduce my reputation as article-creator.--MisterSanderson (talk) 22:52, 15 June 2015 (UTC)
- I agree. Note that Fredous translated only the first third of the Galician page. I started to read external links in the Galician page (some of them do not work) and I think this makes a good basis at least to a paragraph of Scandinavian pilgrims, and you can base a few sentences of viking raids in it, too. I did not read the pdf "Scheen, Rolf. Viking raids on the Spanish peninsula". I have written my Finnish texts based on original references, see fi:Pedro Pardo de Cela, and recommend the same, especially instead of translating an un-referenced translation. --Tappinen (talk) 04:57, 17 June 2015 (UTC)
- Now if you look at the Finish version there are more references (in English). Actually I think the gallego version is based on the Rolf Scheen article, but the en-wiki page gets a bit odd when Scheen's text has been first translated to gallego and then back to English. I will polish the English text a bit. I do not touch the Gallego vesion, though. --Tappinen (talk) 13:12, 18 June 2015 (UTC)
- Please, notify me if you make the English version well-referenced. Then I will can translate from this language instead of Galego.--MisterSanderson (talk) 17:53, 18 June 2015 (UTC)
- Translating referenced text is much quicker and easier than searching and reading academic articles to write on my own. And because my interest in Galicia isn't so big, I don't want to do that.--MisterSanderson (talk) 17:53, 18 June 2015 (UTC)

The articles gl:Ruínas de San Domingos, gl:Mosteiro de San Lourenzo de Carboeiro and gl:Canón do Sil aren't well-referenced too, and gl:Follas novas don't have a single source! I will not translate them.--MisterSanderson (talk) 17:53, 18 June 2015 (UTC)
Check ?
[edit]I think the number of en-articles does not match. Is someone going to re-check ? --Tappinen (talk) 20:29, 1 July 2015 (UTC)
