NYPL has an excellent microfiche collection. But I am thousands of miles away. Perhaps the day will come when we can rig some access. I am interested in Washington D.C. area newspaper articles from the thirties and don't know else who has them. GeoBardRap 20:42, 22 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Opposition to page move?

[edit]

Is there any opposition to moving these pages to reflect the full name of the organization (New York Public Library)? I think abbreviations should be reserved for redirects, and that way (when browsing categories or project pages) readers know which institution is being referred to. --Another Believer (Talk) 17:31, 16 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It would be a good change. Go for it, Another Believer. -- kosboot (talk) 18:27, 16 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Done. Thanks. I am not sure about the different between the "GLAM" category and the "Wikipedia-X Institution collaboration" categories. --Another Believer (Talk) 19:09, 16 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
