- Dank and Johnboddie, hi! I'm not sure what the procedure is for TFA (I'm new to this), but I have a suggested edit for the blurb. I think "labor activist" should be removed, and "social scientist" should be moved before "social feminist." This reflects the current article lead. Van Kleeck was a major figure in the study of American labor, but she wasn't really a labor activist, in that she was never in a union, served as a laborer, or organized workers herself. She was primarily a social scientist concerned first with women's labor, then later on the labor-management relationship. Ganesha811 (talk) 15:35, 28 May 2020 (UTC)
- Also, I made another edit to the lead recently - rather than "helped to create the Women's Bureau", I changed my old wording to "led the creation of", which I think also should be changed in the TFA blurb. As she actually drafted the law that created the Bureau and served as its first director, I think the change is justified.
