You should be aware that there is an ongoing debate in regards to satellite formation. The proper way to characterize the state of knowledge is gas-rich vs gas-poor subnebula models. Both approaches are viable. Such a framework is the basis for NASA funded research. The Callisto-Ganymede dichotomy is one aspect of the problem.Igmos00 (talk) 22:02, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
