[edit]- Why include champagne gene (CH) if you don't use CH again? Perhaps trim the (CH)?
- Done. - DB
- "SLC36A1 gene" - Perhaps worth a redlink, or a link at least?
- Done. - DB
- "Ead's Captain" - Did he achieve his colouration independently? Was he descended from Old Granny?
- I'm not really sure. One source (unfortunately considered unreliable for FAC purposes, but I'm fairly sure it was accurate) said that his dam was an ACD and his sire a Belgian, but didn't give his bloodlines further back from that. It's quite possible he was descended from Old Granny, since there weren't a lot of dilute-color draft horses floating around, but that's OR at this point. - DB
- " In 1950, the breed was finally recognized..." - Is "finally" necessary?
- I think it is, although I'm open to having my mind changed. The Iowa Department of Agriculture had not recognized the breed during the Depression, so this recognition in the 50's was a big step forward. - DB
- Citation needed after direct quote
- Done. It was the next reference, but I duplicated it. - DB
- Not very many comments. Looks nice. Also, I did a copyedit which you may want to look at. Crisco 1492 (talk) 23:58, 26 April 2012 (UTC)
