Grading

Wikipedia contributions will be graded as follows:

Midterm (30% of the course final grade) due 5 Nov 2015

• 30% each (x3): for illustrating articles on English Wikipedia
  
  • One of the three image must be an animation, a transition state or an illustration of a theoretical concepts.
• 10%: for participation in a collaborative class work (Pople diagram)

Final (30% of the course final grade) due 4 Dec 2015

Create a new article or improve an existing article belonging to the category Category:Computational chemistry

• You must contribute the following to the article:
  • at least 15 sentences of content (60%)
  • the content is supported by at least 4 new references (15%) and
  • at least one original or derivative free media uploaded to Wikimedia Commons (15%).
• Final presentation and survey (10%)
