- @Pmahon628: Hi there, I'm Jethro, your mentor. Welcome to Wikipedia, and thanks for making a profile at the Co-op. We can use this page to talk about what you need help with, so feel free to reply below.
- I notice you're having some difficulty with The London Session, which was nominated for deletion recently. Don't fret. This happens often with first articles. As a general rule, it is better to wait until an album has been released before writing an article about it, which is why it was nominated in the first place. Usually, albums get most of their coverage once they've been released in the form of reviews and interviews, and not a whole lot beforehand. As you've learned by now through discussion with other editors, article topic need to be what we call "notable" according to a general standard or a specific standard (for albums in this case). This means that we can't use the existence of other non-notable material on Wikipedia to justify a non-notable topic-- that just means we should clean-up or otherwise delete that other stuff.
- If you want to participate in the deletion discussion for the article, you can, but I'd encourage you to read over these arguments to avoid in deletion discussions before doing so. Regardless, it seems to me that the article can be created soon after its release date, upon which I expect you'll find more coverage. I, JethroBT drop me a line 17:58, 26 March 2015 (UTC)
Awesome, well the album came out yesterday, and there are some articles about it, so when does the banner saying it is being considered for deletion going to disappear? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pmahon628 (talk • contribs) 16:03, 8 April 2015 (UTC)
