There was a mistake in that your request wasn't originally flagged for the bureaucrats as needing the bot flag, but that was fixed earlier today. Once a bureaucrat gets around to the backlog on Wikipedia:Bots/Requests for approval/Approved, you'll get the flag. You can try asking at WP:BN if you want to try hurrying the process.
