[edit]Hello <<username>>!
Welcome to Wikipedia! I am <<your username>> a fellow Wikipedia contributor, also known as a Wikipedian. I noticed you've taken an interest in editing and learning about Wikipedia. You have done a very good job learning on your own, but sometimes it is nice to know you can ask someone for help. I would like to offer my hand to you. If you have a question or would like some advice feel free to ask me.
One of the many good things about Wikipedia is groups of editors working toward a common goal, bettering a group of articles. These groups are also known as WikiProjects. The List of WikiProjects ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:List_of_WikiProjects ) contains a list of available WikiProjects. Joining one is very simple, all you have to do is sign your name (using ~~~~) and start editing.
Don't worry if there is something here you do not fully understand, I am willing to help with any questions. If you have any questions feel free to ask me via email or my talkpage.
Again thank you for taking an interest in Wikipedia.
Happy editing,
<<your username>>
