The course provides an overview of archaeological theory, the approaches used by archaeologists to interpret and reconstruct past cultures from the archaeological record.

The course should also help make you more aware of what sorts of perspectives on the past are (or are not) well represented within archaeological discussions. The idea for this Wikipedia assignment is to research and write/edit content that highlights some underrepresented but important (and well referenced!) perspectives.
