This is a survey course on Astrobiology, covering topics ranging from defining what is life, the origins of life, looking for life within our solar system, the search for exoplanets, SETI, and inhabitation beyond Earth. Students will be primarily 3rd and 4th year undergraduate STEM majors. Students will work in groups to find a knowledge gap for a topic related to Astrobiology that exists in Wikipedia, and then conduct a term project to create appropriate entry material to edit an existing wikipedia page or create a new entry.
