This course studies the linguistic structures of Spanish. The Wikipedia portion is to research the linguistic features of different dialects of Spanish and document their properties. For instance, what are some of the unique lexical items (i.e. words) belonging to that dialect? What unique morpho-syntactic features do they have? Most if not all of the dialects already have pages so this will be focused primarily on making sure the sources are up to date. Students will work in groups on a specific dialect that they choose.
