This course introduces students to the many forms of academic writing, from formal research papers to resumes and cover letters. For the Wikipedia project, students will gain experience in reading scientific literature and then writing the information for a general audience (on Wikipedia!). Students in the course will have varied interests within biology, so as much as possible I will allow them to follow their interests in selecting a topic.
