This course pairs late medieval and early modern literary texts with contemporary texts, films, and artwork that use that material as inspiration; the focus is on queer texts and artists that mind the premodern past for the purpose of creating queer futures. The assignment will be to improve select Wikipedia pages that relate to the authors, texts, and/or films we have discussed.U
