In this Freshman Seminar, we will learn to use the bibliographic resources of UC Berkeley to document the lives, issues, achievements, and scholarship of under-represented racialized populations on Wikipedia with a special emphasis on women, queers, and transgender people of color. Students will learn about various library databases, strategies for researching marginalized and under represented populations, how to create their own research bibliographies, and how to edit Wikipedia.
