Students will be studying Indigenous and Afro Futurisms. After some whole class work on these areas, students will be split into smaller groups and select a media text to work on. I will curate a list of Indigenous and Afro Futurist texts (novels, music, film, graphic novel, etc) that either have no wikipedia page or have an underdeveloped page for students to work on.
