- Assignment - Introduction
Hello Everyone,
Please post a starting introduction. Please include a little bit about yourself, what your dream position is an a new RN would be, the best way to contact you, and anything else you would like to share. This course is presented in an online format which helps you work in groups to enhance an article on a topic of your choice or prepare an article from scratch. The project will be presented to your class at the end of the semester. You are required to keep a log on your time spent on this project. Each student should have a total of 75 hours spent by the end of your project. This is my first time teaching this course so please be patient and if there are any questions along the way please don't hesitate to contact me at SYeagerRockford.edu
You will be working in groups. There are 9 of you in this clinical section. Please email me your selected groups and a specialty/topic of your choice. You can choose to work in a group of 2 or 3 students. No individual students please. Please send me the information by September 6th at the latest.

Exercise
Now's the time to revisit your text and refine your work. You may do more research and find missing information; rewrite the lead section to represent all major points; reorganize the text to communicate the information better; or add images and other media.
Start thinking about presentations. Please have an organized way to introduce your topic to your class. I would suggest you have prepared at least 1 visuale aid for presenations. This can include a PowerPoint, a class hand out, or brochure/pamplet provided to patients. Be creative! This is an excellent way to beef up your portfolio when interviewing as a new RN. Any questions, let me know!
