Rooted in the Queens College First-Year Experience Program, this workshop series invites you to grapple with the research methods and knowledge practices of topic areas from across the Languages and Cultural Studies Meta-Major. In the process, you will collaboratively engage with "the hidden curriculum" of their college education by exploring and contributing to Wikipedia articles in support of equity and social justice, as well as cultural and linguistic diversity. In addressing an assortment of translingual and multicultural themes, you will build their critical thinking and writing skills, at once sharing and constructing knowledge in concert with an interdisciplinary blend of your peers.
