- Assignment - Connect with your Wiki Team.
You have pre-assigned to project teams. Be sure to conect with your Team this week, and discuss roles, responsibilities, and start discussing possible topics. Some suggestions for an increased chance of a successful team project:
1) be clear with each other about expectations within the Team. It is often very valuable to identify a team leader, but you are all responsible for the product your team generates.
2) leave plenty of time when planning, the timeline is all here, so there are no surprises on this end, within the group there shouldn't be surprises in terms of meetings, or timelines.
3) Delegate responsibilities within the Team to make the best and most efficient use of time (and make sure all are ok with their responsibilities).
4) pick a topic early and check in with the instructors early!
5) respect each other's time, identity, and perspective. It is ok to disagree, but remember the goal isn't winning, it's learning, growing, and generating a great project.
6) if dynamics are not working within the group, try to have a colelagial discussion first, if that doesn't work do not hesitate to come chat with instructors.
