Amphibians and reptiles ("herps") are important study subjects for many important concepts in ecology and evolution, including adaptive radiation, sexual selection, life-history evolution, and species diversity patterns. They are interesting organisms in their own right. This course will teach students what kind of interesting research questions have been addressed with them. For the Wiki assignment small teams of students will work with enhancing species profiles for a reptile. We will choose species that lack extensive information on Wikipedia.
