This course explores the metabolic diversity and genetic regulation of prokaryotes. Students are biomolecular engineering majors, so the focus is on beneficial applications of prokaryotic metabolism.
The Wikipedia assignment in this course will give students a framework in which to learn about a topic in depth. They'll also provide feedback on each other's work and hopefully see their contributions incorporated into Wikipedia articles.
