Students are exploring what it means to be a public intellectual. Because students come from a variety of majors, they will bring a variety of subject area knowledge to the course. We will focus on the rhetorical tasks of writing in ways that share specialized knowledge with general audiences, from blogging to editing/creating wiki pages.
