Students in all sections of Writing 101 to learn how to:
- engage with the work of others;
- articulate a position;
- situate their writing within specific contexts; and
- transfer writing knowledge into situations beyond Writing 101.
In this iteration of the course, students will critically engage with libraries and archival materials. One major assignment will be to use material in the Rubenstein Special Collections Library to fill gaps in Wikipedia entries related to those materials.

Share your initial thoughts on working in Wikipedia on our Wordpress site. You can use discussion questions (provided in the module) to frame your entries, or reflect on the research and writing process more broadly. Create at least one blog entry each week during the Wikipedia assignment. Suggested word count: 200 words.
