The course is "Introduction to Writing & Communication Studies," the first course in our writing concentration. Students will think about how knowledge is generated and communicated, how we assign authority, information literacy, audience, editing, and collaboration. Students can write about any non-specialist topics from the available list, working in groups of 3 or 4.

Now's the time to revisit your text and refine your work. You may do more research and find missing information; rewrite the lead section to represent all major points; reorganize the text to communicate the information better; or add images and other media.
