The course itself is a basic introduction to American government -- institutions and processes. For the project, students will be working to add or expand pages for local and state elected officials in Tennessee. In assigning students the task of finding information about state and local representatives in semesters past, what we've learned is that many city council and county commissions in our state have absolutely no information available online. The students will be adding this, to aide future students and the citizens of the state research their elected officials before elections.
