Welcome to your ARCN 111 Wikipedia Project!
We will use Wikipedia this term to edit archaeological content on the web, creating more information about archaeological sites and Indigenous cultures in North and South America.
Wikipedia is free and open to everyone to use and edit - which sometimes makes it a little daunting to get started. While getting a handle on editing takes time, I promise you it is worth it! The benefits far outweigh the efforts, so pace yourself and realize it will take a bit of time to get used to. That's ok!
Note: While all content on Wikipedia is intended to be free and open to the public, your own names and contact information will not be available to anyone except your professor and Wiki Ed Staff. You will only be known by your anonymous username and your contributions, not by a title, degree, or personal information. Your professor, for example, uses the Wikipedia username Sak201.
