Appearance
I've basically rewritten this entire article, intending to have it reach featured status. One shortcoming I'm aware of is the lack of images; any help in this aspect would be appreciated. Please list any concerns that you feel would prevent the article from becoming featured. Pagrashtak 06:22, 25 January 2006 (UTC)
- maybe one or two more screenshots, and add fairuse rationale to the gamepro cover. --ZeWrestler Talk 18:26, 25 January 2006 (UTC)
- The article is too long (32 Kb), so I suggest splitting the story off to a seperate page and keep a plot summary in its place. The cast section might be good to introduce before the story section? Poulsen 08:38, 26 January 2006 (UTC)
- The The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask article is currently 36kb and it has FA status. So i do not think length is a problem. As for the idea about moving the the caste section before the story, I think that'll be good for the article. --ZeWrestler Talk 15:59, 26 January 2006 (UTC)
- Good point on Majora's Mask, though that article is divided into many smaller sections, while Wind Waker has a really long story section which would maker easier reading if divided into smaller sections or written as a summary, in my opinion. Poulsen 17:14, 26 January 2006 (UTC)
- I moved the cast section of the article. It is true about the story containing to much information. Summarizing it is a good idea. With that being shorted, maybe some sections on characters and weapons can be made. Something short and in prose format. If neccessary, use the Majora's Mask article for the standard. --ZeWrestler Talk 17:33, 26 January 2006 (UTC)

- Yeah, the story is pretty long. Majora's Mask's story was much easier to summarize. I don't know how I feel about the cast section. I didn't know where it put it, but I don't like it above the story. Casablanca (film) (a featured article) dives right into the plot after the lead, with the cast section closer to the end, after production. The cast of Wind Waker is much less important to the game than the case of Casablanca is to the movie. --Pagrashtak 01:33, 27 January 2006 (UTC)
- Wow, when you print out the story, it doesn't seem as big... Anyways, the story is already somewhat compacted, so I've tried adding section headers to break it up. Do you think the story still needs to be cut down, or do the sections break it up enough to stand? --Pagrashtak 02:42, 28 January 2006 (UTC)

Good work with the images in the article. Looking at the ones in there, they seem a little bit on the pixilated (sp) side. they might look better as .png files. --ZeWrestler Talk 22:29, 28 January 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks! I just pulled them straight from Nintendo's gallery and stuck them up there. On my computer they look pixilated at full size but appear all right at 250px in the article. If you can improve them, by all means do so. I also added fair use rationale to the GamePro cover, I can't believe I missed that earlier. --Pagrashtak 22:50, 28 January 2006 (UTC)
- What format were they originally brought into your computer in? --ZeWrestler Talk 22:52, 28 January 2006 (UTC)
- JPEGs; they're stored as JPEGs at Nintendo's Wind Waker gallery. --Pagrashtak 00:10, 29 January 2006 (UTC)
