Wikidata for Fans of Digital Libraries is a webinar presented by the Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T ). This is a private event for invited guests of ASIS&T.
About
[edit]Wikidata for Fans of Digital Libraries will discuss why anyone should care about Wikidata, what it is, how digital libraries are already using it, and how any organization can engage with the platform.
- Lane Rasberry, user:bluerasberry, is Wikimedian in Residence at the Data Science Institute at the University of Virginia. In this role, Lane matches research and publication with Wikipedia's large audience.
- Daniel Mietchen, user:Daniel Mietchen, is a biophysicist working for the University of Virginia on the integration of scientific workflows with the Web through open research and open science, particularly in the field of biomedical research.
