Wikipedia:WikiProject Tropical cyclones/Assessment/List of Arizona hurricanes (2)

This article had an A-Class review over 3 years ago, and it has been substantially modified since then. What needs to be done for it to be A-Class? Titoxd(?!? - cool stuff) 10:55, 24 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • "These troughs tend to extend farther to the south during the latter part of the Pacific hurricane season, in the period between late August and early October, producing a synoptic-scale flow that is conducive to steering hurricanes towards the southwestern United States." - this sentence is a bit long-winded. Try restructuring?

Other than that, the article was a great read. It covers the topic very well, and I suggest taking it to FLC. --♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 22:33, 24 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I split that sentence. Do you think the article needs a prose review? Titoxd(?!? - cool stuff) 01:50, 26 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I checked it, and the writing was great all around. I'd be happy with A-class. --♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 02:07, 26 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Sweet. I can't tag it as A-Class, since I wrote it, but if somebody tags it like that I'll send it to FLC in the next possible opening. Titoxd(?!? - cool stuff) 02:10, 26 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
