Here are some tasks awaiting attention: Article requests : 1. Literary translation (currently only a section in Translation) 2. Traduction litte'raire (currently only a section in Traduction in fr.wikipedia) 3. Traduzione letteraria (currently not even a section in Traduzione in it.wikipedia) 4. Sign language interpreting (currently only a section in Language interpretation) Citing sources : 1. Voice-over translation 2. Legal translation 3. Quran translations 4. Language interpretation 5. Computer-assisted translation 6. Telephone interpreting 7. Subtitling 8. Machine translation 9. French language article on translation memory 10. Surtitles Cleanup : These articles need re-thinking and re-structure to comply with Wikipedia rules and style. 1. sense-for-sense translation 2. literal translation 3. Translation criticism 4. Glocalization 5. Speech-to-text reporter 6. French language article on conference interpretation 7. Corpora in Translation Studies 8. video game localization 9. Suggest ways to improve the article translation in the article talk page. Expand : 1. List of translators and interpreters associations 2. List of language interpreters in fiction Photo : 1. Theo Hermans 2. Andrew Chesterman 3. Martha Cheung 4. Jose Lambert Categorize : Many existing articles could be categorized within the following: 1. Category:Translation and interpreting schools 2. Category:Films about language and translation There is a Category:Male translators (has 1000+ entries in it) but not a category 'Female translators'. Worth adding? Can we add categories? There seems to be no category in English for 'Subtitler'; could we imagine adding one? - for example for Herman G. Weinberg.
