The property operated exclusively by virtue of stock control, comprises the entire property of the West Side Railroad Company, hereinafter called the West Side Railroad, consisting of 1.009 miles of main track and 0.024 mile of yard tracks and sidings at West Sacramento.
The property of the company has always been operated by the carrier, or its predecessors, as follows: Northern Electric Railway Company, from completion in 1912 to June 30, 1918; Sacramento Northern Railroad, from July 1, 1918, to November 4, 1925; carrier, from November 5, 1925, to date of valuation.

The West Side Railroad was incorporated August 31, 1911, under the general laws of California, to construct a railroad from Sacramento to Rio Vista, Calif., about 35 miles. The date of its organization was August 31, 1911.
- DEVELOPMENT OF FIXED PHYSICAL PROPERTY
The road, all owned, of 1.009 miles in West Sacramento, Calif., was acquired by construction. Of this, 0.400 mile was constructed in 1912 and 0.609 mile in 1921.
