The railroad of the Porterville Northeastern Railway Company, hereinafter called the Porterville Northeastern, consists of a single-track branch line located within the State of California and extends from Porterville to Springfield[sic], with a short spur projecting to Magnesite, aggregating 18.309 miles of road.

The Porterville Northeastern was incorporated and organized August 9, 1910, under the general laws of California.
- DEVELOPMENT OF FIXED PHYSICAL PROPERTY
The owned mileage of the Porterville Northeastern, extending from Porterville to Springville, Calif., with a branch from Magnesite Junction to Magnesite, Calif., a total distance of 18.309 miles, was all acquired by construction. The main line was built between September 1910 and September 18, 1911, and the branch during the year 1912.
