The railroad of Magma Arizona Railroad Company, hereinafter called the carrier is a single-track narrow-gauge steam railroad, located in central Arizona and extending from Magma to Superior, a distance of 30.361 miles. The carrier owns and uses yard and side tracks aggregating 1.317 miles, making a total of all tracks owned and used of 31.678 miles. In appendix 1 will be found a general description of the property of the carrier.
Corporate history.—The carrier was incorporated under the general laws of Arizona, on October 13, 1914, which is also the date of its organization. Its principal office is located in New York, N. Y. The development of fixed physical property is related in Appendix 2.

- DEVELOPMENT OF FIXED PHYSICAL PROPERTY
The 30.361 miles of railway of the carrier were constructed by McArthur Brothers Company under contract with the carrier dated November 16, 1914. All materials were furnished by the carrier. Construction work was begun in November, 1914, and the road was open for operation on May 25, 1915.
