The railroad of the Eagles Mere Railroad Company, hereinafter called the Eagles Mere Railroad, which is leased to and operated by the carrier, is a single-track narrow-gauge line located in Pennsylvania. It extends from a connection with the lessee's main line, at Sonestown, northerly to Eagles Mere Park, a distance of 9.669 miles.

The Eagles Mere Railroad was incorporated July 11, 1912, under the general laws of the State of Pennsylvania, for the purpose of acquiring the property, rights, and franchises of the Eaglesmere Railroad Company. The date of its organization was June 11, 1912. The Eaglesmere Railroad Company was incorporated under the general laws of the State of Pennsylvania, September 17, 1891. It was acquired by the Eagles Mere Railroad, July 11, 1912, by purchase.

The owned mileage of the Eagles Mere Railroad extending from Sonestown to Eagles Mere, Pa., a distance of approximately 9.669 miles, was acquired in the reorganization of 1912 from the Eaglesmere Railroad Company, which had constructed it during 1891 and 1892.
