The terminal facilities which comprise the entire property owned by Albany Passenger Terminal Company, hereinafter called the carrier, embrace 1.823 miles of yard tracks and sidings and a brick passenger station, at Albany, Ga. The engineering, supervision, grading, tracklaying, and surfacing, were performed by the Central of Georgia Railway Company under an oral agreement, on a basis of actual cost of labor and material, plus 10 per cent for supervision, etc. The remainder of the construction was performed by various parties under contract. These facilities were opened for operation on October 4, 1913, and are used by the Central of Georgia Railway Company, the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad Company, the Seaboard Air Line Railway, the Georgia, Southwestern & Gulf Railroad Company, and the Georgia Northern Railroad Company.


Corporate history.—The carrier was incorporated on October 27, 1911, under the general railroad laws of Georgia. Its principal office is in Savannah, Ga.

History of corporate financing, capital stock, and long-term debt.—The carrier is owned and controlled by the Central of Georgia Railway Company, the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad Company, the Seaboard Air Line Railway, the Georgia, Southwestern & Gulf Railroad Company, and the Georgia Northern Railroad Company.
