Firearm manufacturer stubs

The result of the debate was create.
(Following the style of Category:Cycle manufacturer stubs and that template)

Upmerge targets would be Category:Firearm stubs and Category:Manufacturing company stubs. There probably aren't enough to reach 60, but on the off chance there is, the category would be Category:Firearm manufacturer stubs.

Engraver stubs

The result of the debate was create engravers as proposed; create medallist as upmerged template only.
I'd like to propose:

{{Engraver-stub}} // Category:Engraver stubs
1. {{France-engraver-stub}} // Category:French engraver stubs
2. {{Italy-engraver-stub}} // Category:Italian engraver stubs
3. {{UK-engraver-stub}} // Category:British engraver stubs

On a part count / estimate, there are roughly 60-90 possibles in each of the national cats, and slightly fewer in the over-cat. There is a partial overlap with {{printmaker-stub}}, but not all engravers are printmakers and vice versa, so I think there is room for both. However, I'd be grateful for any thoughts. Thanks - there are 87 definite French ones and 198 definite Italian ones, and I don't doubt that the UK figure will be similar. Ingratis (talk) 04:55, 24 February 2022 (UTC)

Support per nom, and once created please change the wording for {{printmaker-stub}}, which currently includes engravers. Her Pegship (?) 23:57, 24 February 2022 (UTC)

Thanks - no problem. To avoid confusion I'd like also to create {{Medallist-stub}} // Category:Medallist stubs to deal with those engravers who worked on medals and coins instead of prints. There may well not be 60 of these so it would be upmerged to Engraver-stubs. Ingratis (talk) 03:39, 25 February 2022 (UTC)

At an estimate there are c. 50-60 stubs that would fit this. With apologies, in a fit of distraction I've already created the upmerged template {{France-dance-bio-stub}} (as opposed to "France-dancer-bio", as I want it also to cover choreographers and similar); no present need for the cat at the moment. Taiwan album stubs

Telangana Rashtra Samithi politician stubs

The petscan shows around 45 articles that would benefit from this. The parent being Category:Telangana Rashtra Samithi politicians. Most of the articles currently reside at Category:Telangana politician stubs An upmerged template would reside at {{Telangana-TRS-politician-stub}} and would feed into Category:Telangana politician stubs until a category is approved. — DaxServer (talk · contribs) 15:08, 3 February 2022 (UTC)

Support per nom. Be sure to peruse through the Telangana pol categories; often times with these Indian pol articles is they aren't stub-sorted and aren't categorized correctly. Since the difference is only 15, it is probably likely that those 15 articles are hiding somewhere in the category tree. Curbon7 (talk) 00:08, 7 February 2022 (UTC)

I need a break from sorting politicians, so I'm gonna do a mini-project that's considerably more fun, and Category:Weapon stubs is in pretty bad shape, so I might as well start there!

I totally support the reorg as well as any upmerged templates you think would work (mind you, I know nothing about weaponry). I would hold off on creating new categories until the template use can be assessed. Her Pegship (?) 23:30, 3 February 2022 (UTC)
Yes that is a given of course. For example, with the bows, eyeballing it, I'm skeptical that it'll get to the 60 required, so it's unlikely that'll get its own cat. Curbon7 (talk) 02:01, 4 February 2022 (UTC)
